The Customer Acquisition Manager is responsible for defining and leading online customer acquisition activities for blowtorch.com and associated web properties. The successful candidate will have experience in search engine marketing and optimization, as well as experience in managing acquisition focused promotions and programs. Working across the organization, this person will take an entrepreneurial approach to customer acquisition activities in addition to relying on proven SEO techniques to meet quarterly targets.
We are open to this being either a Manager or Director level position.
General Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for creating and managing all SEO and customer acquisition activities.
- Develop and execute plans to acquire new members through online media, e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing and social networking measures.
- Work with marketing, technology and design resources to implement SEO and acquisition activities.
- Assist in the creation and management of the marketing calendar.
External Ads & Promotions
- Develop and manage promotional activities on 3rd party sites, including social networking hubs and video aggregators in coordination with Community Manager.

SEO Management
- Develop, procure and update appropriate keywords for the blowtorch.com audience target.

Campaign Analytics
Define metrics and generate weekly reports to determine success of SEO and acquisition activities.
